I guess it won't hurt to get 10.1.2 (other than the cost of two hours download time), so I'll do that and try again. but I do suspect that it is the Palm side causing the problems so won't expect big improvements until this bug is squashed. I might go into PDT for 9.2 so at least I have my data on the iMac when needed.
