Unhappy

My beloved slim, matching leather case from Handspring is causing those little tension cracks at the top of my six-week old BVDx.

I know this matter has been covered here, so I know I'm not the only one with this problem.

I love my case. I love my Visor. But they clearly don't love each other. I can either return the case and get something I love less. Or ask for a replacement Visor, which will just get cracked from the case. Or I can learn to live with it.

Two questions:
1. Has Handspring EVER acknowledged or addressed this problem? (I mentioned it to the Handspring guy at PCExpo, and he seemed unaware of it.)
2. Is there a safer way of removing the Visor from the Handspring case? (I tend to push the Visor down and pull the lid up to separate the two, but the case still does damage.)

I like to hotsync every day, and this problem leaves me reluctant to take the device out of the case. I'd appreciate any comments.

They've never admitted it, but they will replace it. Jsut contact them via e-mail with shipping information and they'll send you a new Visor (Well, at least a refurb). I returned mine and mine new one has never cracked.

Cool

Had my slim leather case for a little over a month now, and have only good things to say about it! Haven't noticed any cracks yet.
