I have downloaded AportisDoc reader, and iSilo reader... but how do I get documents onto my Visor?? The hotsync manager only lets me install Palm type files.

The following is for iSilo, but the general concepts are similar for most DOC reader conversion programs.

Palm OS DOC files are not the same as MS Word files. If you are trying to get Word files onto your Visor, you need to save the file in either plain text or HTML file formats, and then run them through a conversion program to get them into Palm DOC file format.

The converter you want is at (assuing you are on Windows 9x, NT or Win2K): http://www.isilo.com/dl/iSiloWeb.htm

You'll know you've been successful because they will have a .pdb or .prc file extension; and they should show up automatically on your next sync.
