My computer locks up everytime I try to hotsync my visor deluxe. It appears that it cannot access my email through the cable modem, since that is when the lock up occurs.
Has anyone else who has a cable modem had this problem?

Sorry,
more info. I am running windows 98 first edition, i have a US Robotics cable modem, and I am using a USB cradle. The US Robotics cable modem is using one of my 2 USB ports and the cradle is using the other.
If I try to sync, when it comes to syncronize my email (Outlook Express) the system locks up. It does install any software prior to this.
If anyone has any suggestions I would appreciate it.

I have basically the same setup as you, with the following differences:

1. RCA cable modem
2. Modem plugged into Ethernet card, not USB

Syncing with Outlook Express e-mail works fine in my case. Do you have Outlook Express setup as your default e-mail handler? During your mail setup, did you select Outlook Express and not Outlook? Pretty obvious questions, but I thought I'd ask.

Good Luck
