I wonder how big the OS is in ROM and if the Visor also has 2 MB of Flash Rom. If so then Flash Pro is still an option.

I believe I read somewhere that the ROM is 2 megs. I suspect it's very much like the Palm's ROM, which should make the Flash Pro usable on the Visor as it is on the Palm.

Update: I just read an article on the PalmGear site that the FlashPro series will NOT work on the Visor. I cannot vouch for the accuracy of that statement, but I expect it is true.
Also, I have to question the wisdom of not making the ROM flash upgradeable. That definitely seems to be the trend. Maybe Handspring has in mind an alternative way to upgrade software.

I read the same article. What handhelds have used the flash upgrade? I have only been using handhelds for about six months, but I have never seen anyone mentioning using the flash for anything other than extra storage using flash pro. I remember there was some talk about using to upgrade CE, but I didn't keep that device long enough to see what happened.
