Perhaps we need a Computer Board

I'm just wondering, does anyone else see a need for a Computer Board on VC? Many people are posting computer-related things in the Off Topic board. If the moderators think the off-topic board will be fine for the amount of computer topics we get, that's fine. Just a thought.

I am not a Apple person, but there seems to be a lot of Apple folks who post Apple specific questions in various places (and often to their fustration, get "windows" answers).. I think a computer section makes sense.. more specially Apple, Windows and "other" sections (this maybe getting too specific) but it may help folks with a platform specific issue get their problem or question answered.. (or some kind of variation on this idea..)

I think posting in the offtopic forum is fine for now.
After all this is VisorCentral and not TechQuestionsCentral...

just MHO

Computer specific

There are plenty of boards devoted to specific computer issues. The best thing about VC is its specificity. Obviously, Visor/Computer questions are valid e.g. how do I get my <module> to <action> while using <os> are vital but I would like to avoid the os flame wars if possible.

I was actually just thinking about this. I don't want too many forums though, so for now we'll stick with just the OT forum.

Sub-Forums? Then we could have all kind of fun: Mac VS PC, Everybody VS <insert the annoyer of the day here>, etc etc

I like it! What happens if a Mod is "The Annoyer of the Day", though?
