Red face

Just replaced an old PalmPilot Personal with
an OVDX. Sync'd old box, upgraded software,
sync'd to Visor... and noticed that the Address Book and Memo Pad didn't sync. The
data is fine in Palm Desktop. But on
the Custom panel (HotSync Manager) I don't see entries for Address Book or Memo Pad.

Any suggestions for getting them back?

Lightbulb

This was probably just an installation hiccup. Turns out that the registry entries for the address book and memo pad conduits didn't match the file names installed.

Most conduits were of form datcn20.dll, but the two problem apps had files installed named addcn30.dll. Registry had the file name with 2 instead of 3. So quick and dirty fix: copied addcn30.dll to addcn20.dll, and the same for memcn30.dll. Restart HotSync Manager and life is good.
