C'mon, HandPalm! Sony now has UX80!

Sony is preannouncing the UX 80. Camera upgraded from 300K to 1.3 megs. More standardized Palm keys. Smaller.
Now bad for 3 month's work, Sony!
How many months will it take HandPalm to change to 320 x 320 and put a 1.3 meg in there?

lol, i guess u don't understand why. That means it sucks and it's not selling. Yeah it might be cool for a week, but in regular usage it's a pain. A quick upgrade means the product is a failure.
Everywhere i go, i get people saying "That's a cool phone" in reference to the Treo 600, then they ask if they can hold it and fool around with it. That's a big difference over the treo 300, now people are calling the 600 a phone even if they've never heard of it. I love my treo 600.

With Sony, a quick upgrade doesn't mean the model it's replacing was a failure. Sony is notorious for releasing a new pda about every two or three months. They do this and the ubergeeks constantly upgrade to the newest product. I'm not sure how the UX50 faired in sales, but with Sony a quick updgrade isn't an indicator of product failure. They just want some more geek dollars.

No question of the UX50/80 having impressive spec sheets. But it has the worst design of any current PDA I've see. I'd be amazed if these products had a successful run.

Like the specs of it, but they need to work on the design a bit...
And knowing Sony they probably allready are working on a replacement of the UX50... lets keep our fingers crossed..
