Help with AvantGo!!

I am running Handspring Palm Desktop software 4.0.1 and tried to install AvantGo...however, when you get to the final hotsync (after you download the file), it never registers the hotsyncs with AvantGo.

Has anyone else gotten this to work or had this problem?
I have downloaded the Handspring USB update and tried the Palm 4.0.1 update, but that didn't work.

Should I go down to Desktop 3.x?

I wouldn't downgrade. Contact AvantGo Support and see if they can help you. They fixed an issue I was having in a couple hours. They were great. Email them at: [email protected].

I had trouble setting up Avantgo with 4.01. Here's what I did--

deleted the temp files -- using disk cleanup and reboot
Then I logged onto Avantgo with the PC and entered my accounts --
thought that would clear the path so to speak

Then I hotsync(ed)

Worked for me--
