Question

Long time reader, first time poster:

Why are there no SB modules for landline ethernet? Is that not possible?

I casually considered the Thincomm Modem, but I go to school where I would find a lot more use for landline ethernet.

It's not MIA until January 15th. That date was provided at Comdex. If that slips, then it would be fair to call it MIA.

Originally, it was announced (back in January) for release in Q2 2000 so, technically, we can call it MIA.

Sure, if you want to get that technical, but I consider a projection of a certain quarter or season to be vague and open to change, anyway (especially considering they miss Fall '00 by less than a month if they actually show up in January). I consider a specific date to be pretty solid. That suggests to me that they're in the manufacturing and packaging process already.

Oops, actually just noticed that this said Q2 and not the Fall 2000 that I remembered from the website. Never mind.
