So, I'm JUST inside the 30 day return window...SHOULD I return my Deluxe and get a Platinum?
ANy opinions?
Is there an downside?

also, doe s the Platinum share the SAME hotsync cradle? (that is, can I keep my serial cradle or should i return that too?)

Yes

I have seen and played with the Platinum and its definitely worth the upgrade. The silver finish is very nice and the speed is very fast compared to to the Deluxe. Grey scale pictures look very nice onm it as does some Avantgo channels.

Other improvement include easier navigation in applications (No need to hit the menu icon below the house to make program preferences changes anymore, just simple tap on the application heading). Datebook now has a 4th (Agenda) view as well.

The platinum will work with the serial cradle you now have so you do not have to return it.
