Where can you get a deal on Eye2?

Besides Amazon who (still) sell the Eye2 for $200, does anyone sell it for less? Any discounts or coupons out there on the internet? I don't want a used Ebay one...

If you want mine, I'll sell it to you for $100. (Seriously.) I've only used it three times. I've still got the box and everything that was inside. It's a great little device, but it can't compare to my Nikon Coolpix 995.

If you're dead set on brand new, I don't know of any particular discounts out there, beyond the usual 5 or 10 bucks off coupons from Amazon that you can find on techbargains.com.

Thanks for the offer but the logistics or such a transaction would suck. I kinda feel "obligated" to buy a camera for the Visor to justify why I bought it in the first place. At $200+ (add the fact that I am in Toronto and it will cost be about C$350 all in, I could get a lower end digital camera for that price.

Why the change of heart after using it 3x?

BTB, I guess that makes me the 2nd biggest Julia roberts hater. I really dont get it. What is it with her? She plays a whore opposite Richard Gear and all of sudden she's famous and my wife loves her, but I digress.

She's the kind of woman that women think is attractive. That, of course, doesn't make her attractive, but it doesn't stop a lot of men from liking her, in hopes that other women will find THEM attractive as a result. Pitiful, really.

The same thing happened in the late nineties with TV shows like "90210." So many guys I knew and previously respected watched that show on a regular basis, just so that they could bring it up in conversation with the girls and make themselves look cool and sensitive. If I were a woman, I'd laugh in any guy's face that told me he liked 90210 or Julia Roberts.

Big Teeth. No Talent. That ridiculous laugh that she does in every one of her movies. The fact that she can't cry on screen to save her life. And, the final straw, her completely arrogant speech at the Academy awards last year, put me over the top. She needs to be stopped. Immediately. Especially with more talented AND attractive women like Marisa Tomei, Mira Sorvino, and Angelina Jolie waiting in the wings. Then again, none of those women would stoop to the cheeseball movies that Roberts stars in, so I guess we'll just have to create a void in the industry.

Anyway, I hope you can find a deal on the module. The whole Canadian exchange rate thing bites. I'm not sure if any retail chains that carry Visors (like Staples, or smaller places) ever carried the Eye2. But if they did, and they're having trouble selling it, you may find one discounted that way.

Don't worry about me. I've already gotten a number of offers from others about my module. Amazing what happens when you make a brief mention in these forums. Rest assured, my module will find a home.

And by the way, it's not that I'm unhappy with my Eye2. I just don't get around to using it, because I use my VisorPhone so much, and I recently purchased a Coolpix 995, which is a full-featured digital camera that takes most excellent pictures. I had a lot of fun with the Eye2 for a brief time, but when I quickly realized that photography was something I wanted to spend more time doing, I decided to trade up.

Good timing...I was just about to post a message about this. I just got my eyemod2 from www.igo.com yesterday for $140. I'd never heard of igo before, but everything seemed to go pretty smoothly. It showed up in the promised time frame and doesn't appear to be a return or anything other than brand new. When I ordered last week they'd for some reason been differentiating the eyemod2 for each Visor, but as of right now, they just list one for the Platinum. Dunno why, as it should work with all Visors as far as I know. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

The $140 price is listed as a closeout price, so I don't know how much longer it'll be available, nor when they started the offer. I found it about a week ago. Also, doing a little poking around on web coupon sites may be able to find you a free shipping coupon for igo. I found one which had expired, but when I called igo, the rep I got found a newer one and applied it.
