This is just for the 180/270, right? Seems that there has been mention that the 90 uses a different protocol to sync or something

Works for my Visor Deluxe. I needed to remove the 3.1.0 Update before it would sync; presumably you need to remove whichever update corresponds to your Visor's software (or perhaps all newer updates).
