Don't just sit there ... tell us about it!
So I paid for mine and I have to wait, while you entered a contest and you have yours now ... I'm very jealous.

Visors are shipping out of Fremont, California, to answer an earlier question.

Question

I'd REALLY like to know if us people in the Bay Area can stop by the warehouse or by HandSpring itself and just pick one up, as opposed to waiting for ours to go through shipping, etc. Anybody know anything about this?

Cool

I also won a Graphite Visor Dlx at Internet World. They were giving away several an hour so I would guess that there are quite a few floating around. I also ordered one on Sept 14. Guess I'll have two.

The Product is awesome. You will all love it. Any specific questions, let me know.

Ok JimmyG and sluggo,

You guys won our Visors? Did you when any cases with it or just our Visors? You should be ashamed of yourself for not giving it back to them for fullfillment of our orders....oops I'm sorry since you did order one I guess it's OK.

How did you win it? Did you have to wear a thong or something to get their attention? Or was it purely fill in the coupon kinda thing? Perhaps you had to beam them your address information from your existing Palm unit in order to win the Visor? Or maybe you had to do a stunt such as stand on your head and act like a Monkey or similar.

Anyway,, why don't you post a totally new topic and give us your impressions about the totally free unit that you got. I'm sure we'd all listen.

Congrats on the winning. Your a lucky person.

JimmyG,
Now that you have your visor, give us a feel of the buttons, screen, and the actual case.. how was that made.. I am afriad that visor will be put together cheaply cause of its low cost.. does it feel smoothly assmebled?
How about the clipon cover?
guess you don't have a say on the transparency colors huh.. I know i heard all these before. but the more opnions the better aint it?

Cool

The Visor is VERY cool.

I'm still concerned about the lack of flash ROM for updates...

All i had to do to win one was fill out their survey and watch the presentation, and have my name picked out of a box of about 300 surveys (truth be told, I was doubly lucky, Jeff Hawkins himself picked my name out of the box).

The Visor Dlx I won comes with everything that yours will. Leather slipcover, usb cradle, device with clip on cover, & cd-rom.

If I get the chance later today, I'll post a new topic with my first impressions.
