Question

OK, I have my VDX for about 8 months now and I think I am ready to buy a springboard module. Any recommendations? I have a digital camera so that's out of the question. What about all the new web browsers and phones? Aren't they too expensive AND require a monthly fee?

To make things short, is there any module out there, that you would highly recommend as value for the money?

Thanks,

mj

"...and 'though it's been said many times, many ways..."

buy the BackupModule! Go to this thread and you might still be able to get it for $10.00 off!

Thumbs up

Have to agree. The Backup Module, while not very sexy, is the most practical Springboard out there -- not to mention the least overpriced. But all I want for Christmas is my VisorPhone.

Backup, Definitely Backup

But if ya gotta buy something sexier, maybe a modem? But be ready to spend some $$ on 3rd party apps (fax and/or email client) to go with it.

I can't do without my 8MB Flash module. My Backup module is useful but the 8MB Flash is essential.

How can anyone get by with only 8MB memory on their Visor?

Cool

I wholeheartedly agree with those recommending the Backup module. It doesn't cost much and it has saved my bacon more times than I can count.

However, the accessory voted by some of my friends as "most likely to attract chicks" is not a module but the Stowaway keyboard. (This is based only on the observation that, in this rather male-dense circle, it happens that those of us who own a Stowaway all are chicks. One of the guys has ordered one and will soon be performing more conclusive experiments in the local cafe. Me, I just use it to take notes in meetings and arouse jealousy in coworkers.)
