PrismClie

Clie if they fix the buttons and make the graffiti area hide like on the Handera

My Prism also seems to chew battery when on the brightestlevel but when I switch it to a dimmer setting it seems to gain juice and last quite a bit longer.

I never seem to be more than 2 or 3 hours of continuous use so I do not have true battery length. Mine resides in my cradle unless its on my stowaway.

oop

I was responding to a thread in progress about the ideal Palm based unit. I like the Clie 760 but want the front buttons fixed and the graffitti area to hide.

Someone had also brought up a thing about battery life. sorry for the mispost

PDACPA: BTW, for those who think that the only benefit of the HandEra-style silkscreen is that it can collapse (if this were so, then the Clie would be a better option since it has more resolution initially than the HandEra at max!), you should keep in mind that there is also a benefit in that you can actually see the silkscreen buttons and the graffiti area in the dark. You cannot do this on the Visors, and it appears that my boss's Clie 710C is similarly crippled.

Hmmmm. This is strange. I'm hocking the HandEra amazingly often on this Handspring Forum. I feel kind of bad about that, especially since I'm a Handspring owner and investor. Doh!

Don't feel bad. If Handera comes out with a color version, even it it's ugly case I'll dump my Prism in a minute.

Oh my...!! You hit Handspring right there, where it really hurts. I guess I would be willing to do the same thing if they had a 16MB version, Colors and a faster processor.
