Found a PDA case, need help

I found a PDA case that would hold my VDX and cell phone, as well as spare batteries for both. I would like to know if anyone out there has this case and what are their impressions of this case.

this is one of the best selling cases at DirectCase, there aren't many drawbacks. You will have to put velcro on the back of your device, or if you order from the manufacturer you can get a sleeve that has the velcro stitched on the back so you can slide the device in there when using that case, and avoid the velcro delimma. DirectCase carries the pdaskins pro, pro phone and plus, and will have the velcro sleeve soon. Check it out, and good luck!

I have the PDA Plus and love it. It's very convienent to use, during the work week it fits easily in my briefcase, otherwise I use the shoulder strap.

I like the fact that it holds my Prism, Stowaway, Memplug, Backup module, cable to connect to my cell phone, pens, business cards, etc.

The only drawback that I've found so far (I've used it for a couple of months maybe) is the shoulder strap. It is very thin and slippery and could slip off your shoulder if you're not aware of this problem. I'm trying to either find a wider strap with some type of non-slip pad on it or a non-slip pad that I can fit on the current strap; my choice would be the former.

Velcro on your case

Gentlemen and Ladies -

I actually found a way to avoid putting sticky velcro on the actual chassis of my VDX. I bought a snap-cover from gethightech and put the velcro on that inside my pda carrier. I now snap the visor in (either face down for carry, or face up for use) and I can still put a different snap cover on it, and not worry about glue, pocket lint, etc.

This also has the nice benefit of providing additional protection inside the case against my expensive screen and digitizer being broken by pressure or drop trauma.

And if I ever break the snap cover (my original broke after a year or so of use) I can just buy another one for $4.00.

Try a camera store. I recently found a camera neck strap that would be just the ticket. It's neoprene with a fabric backing on one side. The side that contacts your shoulder (or neck) is very grippy. It came in several colors. I don't remember the brand, but it's probably a fairly common item.
