Tonight, my VDx repeatedly crashed while hotsyncing. Each time, memo pad was showing on the screen.

I solved the problem by uninstalling all my hacks before hotsyncing and reinstalling after.

Any ideas on what's going on?

My installed hacks are:

Padlock Plus
HackDelete Hack
AppHack
FindIgnore Hack
Phlegm Hack
MenuHack
MiddleCapsHack

hrmm...

The only one we have in common is menuhack but I have a problem with hotsyncs sometimes as well...

I've had some weird interactions between Padlock Plus and Calendar alarms. In one instance, a "stalled" alarm prevented HotSyncs until it was cleared. A work around is to disable Hacks before syncing (something that should be in this site's FAQ re: troubleshooting sync problems). The downside is that you'll be doing more soft resets as a result disable/enable Hack routine.
