Cool

Hi there,

I remember reading awhile ago about a case for a Visor that you could slide your hand in, letting you hold the visor without gripping it. So far I've been unable to find anyhting like it. does anyone have any idea of where I could find what I'm looking for? I use my visor a lot lying down, and a case like that would really help me. Thanks!

I think you may be talking about the Rhodiana case. It has two elastic bands on the back that you can put your hand through. I use the straps for just the purpose that you mentiion. I highly recommend it. http://www.rhodiana.com

Here's a second. The Rhodiana is my "everyday" case and I have been totally satisfied with the case and their customer support. I would suggest getting a stylus that sticks out of the top of your VISOR a bit to make it more convenient in Rhodiana. I find the PDA pinache stylus to be the perfect answer.

i love the Rhodiana Case. very well built. I just wish it was either easier to get the visor out of the case or that the hotsync connections were exposed. I just got a Stowaway keyboard (very cool) and its annoying to remove my visor from the case. still, i have no plans on switching cases

Another vote for the Rhodiana Case. It is great. Dropped my visor once with it in teh case and nothing happened. Highly recommended. My vote for Case of the Year!

Rhodiana hands down!
The only limitations would be the lack of hotsync while in case and also the potential of using oversized springboards while using the case.

Other than that I feel very comfortable with the quality and protection of the case.

Thanks for all the prompt feedback, everyone, I really appreciate it. Another question: is the only place to buy the case direct from Rhodiana? The case seems to be exactly what I was looking for... something not too bulky that had the elastic bands at the back. Also, has anyone gotten the belt clip or the lexan stiffener card? Is the Visor actually comfortable around your waste, or just a nuisance? I'll try an order the case later this weeks. Again, thanks to everyone for your help.

i got mine with the belt clip and the lexan stiffener. i would recommend them both. i clip mine to my pocket, since i dont wear a belt, and its very easy to get to, and i hardely even notice that its there.
yes, i believe you can only buy it from rhodiana

I got the belt clip, too, and have found that I've developed a bad habit of checking to see if my Visor's still there because the clip is so unobtrusive. I think the lexan stiffiner is kind of an "extra". I think I could live without it...although I did print out advanced graffiti strokes on an address label and stick it to the stiffener (which sticks in a pocket of clear vinyl so you can see through it). Direct from Rhodiana is the only place I've seen to buy the case, but they seem to be a fairly small and extremely responsive company. And best of all NO VELCRO!

Stay away from RhinoSkin!

I've had the ShockSuit SportCase for the visor for a few months now, and initially loved it - HOWEVER, it is starting to fall appart! I use it for transporting my visor in my briefcase - hardly tough use. Anyway, I called for a replacement, obviously it is defective, and was told to take a hike! Couldn't belive it! Go with anything else other than RhinoSkin...you will be much happier!
