Value of Current Visor Technology

What's the beef?
I just replaced a visorphone I broke (badly) with a 'new' one (box opened) at EBay for $US 76 cheaper than Handspring's $US99...for a refurbished one!

Is upgrading to any new PDA with a phone that is slightly slimmer worth US$500or so $.....I think not. Especiallywhen I get so much enjoyment from my Mp3 player, PowerPoint Player, Camera etc. which one cannot do with any of the new ones!
Who is doing the marketing here? What a waste!
