Exclamation

My local Target has these on clearance for only $4.95, I think they sell for at least $20. I'm gonna pick one up Monday if they have any left, any suggestions on how I can use this with my Prism though...without velcro?

Matt,

I sent you an email, however, my IE crashed right after sending so not sure if you got it. I'm at [email protected] if you could let me know.

Thanks,

L.

I have one of those cases, I got it with my Stowaway. I only keep my keyboard in it since I don't want to stick velcro on my Visor and the security rail is useless since we don't have the slot for it. Any suggestions would be nice for a VDX.

I remember reading somewhere (not sure if it was on VC or not) where someone found an alternate way of using the case without putting the Velcro on their Visor. They took the leather slip cover that comes with the visor and put the Velcro on that. They then put the Visor in the slip cover and placed it in the case. When they wanted to use it, they removed it from the slip cover. They stated that with the case closed and the added thickness of the slip cover there was enough friction to keep the Visor in place.

Sorry that I do not remember where I saw this. I have been on call this weekend and have not gotten much sleep!

I guess that is why it was $5.00.

Question Why Velcro Your Visor?

I'm guessing that I missed some major posts on this thread somewhere. If you don't want to velcro the Visor to the case (any case, for that matter), why not velcro the clip-on plastic cover (shipped with each Visor) to the case and just snap the back of your Visor into the cover?

Because I said I have a Prism, the clip-on plastic cover can only go on the front because its thicker. I figured maybe I could get by with placing it face down in the case, since I would have to take it out to use wth the keyboard anyways, but the Prism/Clip-on is too thick for the cover to close properly. Heck, it doesn't even close all that well with a Deluxe/Clip-on.

Matt,

I'll buy the case from you if you want to sell it. I would really appreciate it as I'm in Canada and the price has not dropped here. I'll give you us$15 for the case and shipping and can pay by paypal.
