Lets start this again. Please do not use the words "Warman" or "Patent" this is directly from JAMES.

1. What would you like to incorporated into a screen protector?
2. What would be your ideal screen protector?
3. What retail stores would you buy your screen protector from?
4. What price would you pay for this Ideal screen protector?

Thank You
Inventor

Thumbs down

Irrelevant to me since I have a two years supply of a screen protector.
What I and I am sure others would like to see is a scientific discussion of materials used in screen protectors.
Does the screen need breakage protection? An impact to the screen of PDA that would crack the screen would probably cause internal damage.
I would like to hear from the chemists and other researchers.

Not to mention that the impact does not even necessarily have to be to the screen. It IS just glass after all.

I thought for once I'd co-operate with some marketing information for such a useful cause...

1. What would you like to incorporated into a screen protector?
I wouldn't mind having a 5-6 cup coffeemaker and possibly a cigarette lighter built into it.

2. What would be your ideal screen protector?
The cigarette lightin', coffee makin' kind.

3. What retail stores would you buy your screen protector from?
If IKEA sold these screen protectors I'd likely drop in to pick them up there.

4. What price would you pay for this Ideal screen protector?
Well I imagine these may be fairly pricey. Maybe you could tell me InventorB, would the coffemaker need replacable filters or would it have one of those ones you can use over and over again? I think that is a pretty major factor with regards to price.

Arker.

PS: I'm suprised nobody has mentioned the fact that if the cigarette lighter wasn't refillable then that part of the screen protector would be rendered useless after a couple months. Please consider this if you decide to design something to fit this bill InventorB.

Cool

Just please don't try to light up a smoke, brew a pot of java, and look up a number to call on your no-handsfree kit cell phone while you're driving. That might be a little dangerous!

That's a very good point. Maybe for the real 'on the go' type people Inventorb could design some sort of robotic arm with hand attatchment to take over the driving.

This would have to be an optional feature as I'm sure the cost of the parts alone would make the device way pricey to the consumer even when manufactured by such a consumer conscious entreprenuer like him.

With such talent as this at the PDA community's disposal the possibilities are practically limitless!

Arker.

Well, I guess after hating BOB for such a long time I should help him out.
My perfect screen protector woudld act as a battery for my Visor, using solar panels. It would cook dinner for me when I am away, and clean the dishes.

The seconde question is sorta of redundant, so I'm just going to add more features. The screen protector should provide a natural, replenishiable (sp?) fuel source for my car, thus eliminating the need to buy gas.

I would like this screen protector to be sold in the Copley T stop on the green line. If you don't know where that is, take a trip to Boston, and get a subway map. They have plenty of space avaible there for a shop like yours, you just have to clean away all of the rats.

Because you are going to sell this screen protector in the subway, I would expect you to give it to me for free, and be gracious when I yell obsenities (sp?).

Hope this helps you.

My ideal screen protector would also be a consumer protector in that it would send a lethal X-ray back to the 'Inventor' upon the first test of its use on a fish locator.

No, I think he's referring to a long standing hatred of that short lived Microsoft program.

I would have to disagree with you on this one. If this "ideal" screen protector of yours could do this, it would have to be sold with a specially lead shielded visor. having a RF shielded visor is one thing, but now you're asking it to be X-Ray shielded too? that's just asking too much. but on the bright side, it would create a market for specially shielded underwear for visor users.

Awww.. C'mon Mark. Just havin' some fun. You know as well as I do that if we didn't joke around like this then this thread would have degraded to flaming by now and would have been closed. This is at least a step in the right...err.. another direction?

Cheers,
Ark.

Question

I read these posts about screen protectors & Inventorb -- I can't believe that they're for real! Inventorb is delusionary or else he(?) is just taking the mickey out of everyone.

Can't his account just be cancelled? Maybe he can go and bug the PocketPC guys instead?
