I was at CompUSA, and the Avantgo 10% off coupon is burning a hole in my pocket SOO! I want that! I replace my batteries every 2 days, and I want a better soloution. My question is, IS there battery cover completly flat? or does it have a little nub for the plug to go in?

Anything else about it.. USer review etc. .would be appreacited...

Well, I don't know much... but I like my FullCharge. I think the combo cord that the ICU has is pretty sweet, but it wasn't available when I got my FC. I agree with many of the cons of this system, but I think the pros outweigh the cons. I love being able to plug in my visor while I type away on my Stowaway. I just recharge when I am at my desk, so I never seem to run low on power.

Please tell me it's not your parents money you are spending on all this visor stuff.

I'm not spoiled.. they rarely buy me anything I want except at birthdays and cristmas.

Once In a while I get a impulse buy.. rarely though.. It's ok though.. I mean, in the end Icould be going through a pack of alkalines everyw week!

I really want one.. I JSUT CAN'T DECIDE!

Does' Anyone actually OWN an ICU?

ICU charger

I recently purchased an ICU charger, and have been using it for about a week now. The battery cover is completely flat, the charging plug snaps into place over two metal contacts on the back of the cover. It comes with Nickel Metal Hydride batteries, which the Visor doesn't have a battery setting for, and I've contacted ICU to see what they recommend for the setting, as the included instructions don't seem to cover that aspect. Neither does their website. For now, I've been leaving the setting on Alkaline. I don't seem to get the claimed 150% increase in run time, either. Perhaps the batteries need to be conditioned.

I use fullcharge, but... set your batteries to NiCAD using the .7 shortcut (or is it .8, i forget). NiMH and NiCAD have very similar signatures, so you'll get accurate info. Also, the last time I read the website, I seem to remember that 150% claim saying 150% over other rechargeables. not alkalines.

Cool! One thing.. Only Palm OS 3.3 and above has a NiMH and a REchargable aklaline setting. Luckly I have a Platinum, so I'm safe.

OH MY GOD!!!
I jsut went to see if today was the last day I could use my offer.

THEY EXTENED IT UNTILL MARCH 10!!! YEAHH!!!!

I think I'm going to get one.. I guess.. I don't really see a reson to go Fullcharge. And besides, I can use my own Batteries to!
