AvantGo vs FindIgnoreHack

Anybody using FindIgnoreHack having problems when it comes to AvantGo's turn to sync? On my Platinum, I get a Fatal Error reset each time the sync gets to AvantGo. Disabling FindIgnoreHack makes the problem go away. Anybody else see this problem and have a solution?

Same here

Freaky, I've been having the same experience and was just logging onto VC to post about this.

Since FindIgnoreHack is a bit old now (last modified in Feb 2000) I was hoping that somebody might have an alternative.

Or better still, as with PhlegmHack, somebody had picked up where Mitch Blevins left of and updated it - kudos to Mike McCollister for McPhling

I emailed the author awhile back and he replied that the source code was available and that I could modify it if I wanted to. I don't know how, so I didn't.

FindHack 3.6 includes an option to exclude specified apps from searches (you can also choose to only search the current app, or the built-in app databases).

FindHack is the way to go. It is still an app that is supported by the author and does get rid of the need for FindIngore Hack. Plus it has a lot more features.
