As someone who lost his first Visor and was able to back up all my contact data in 15 minutes (from getting my sweaty little hands on the new, unopened Visor) I would strongly recommend that you keep the Back-up module close to you, but not in the Visor. I found a neoprene beeper cover (Beep Suit) on close out at OfficeMax. It has a keyring already on it, so I put my carkeys on it and carry it with me always. If you don't actually change your data alot, or don't try out a lot of new programs, or don't travel a lot- you might not want to have the module with you at all times. I do all of the above and have found having the module invaluable several times when I had to do a hardreset when a new program (or combination of programs) locked up my Visor.
You also have to get in the habit of frequently backing up your Visor with the module also.
