this damn visor edge stylus....

Has anybody else had the little black plastic piece fall out of the metal stylus? I just lost mine and now I need to get a new stylus. It just doesn't work as well without it. Luckily they sell them locally at CompUSA and BestBuy.

But my question is... is there any alternate stylus for the edge that has a more permanent tip that won't come off so easily? The piece that fell off of mine had been loose for a good few weeks.... I should have taken the hint and bought a new one.

Having to replace the entire stylus though *just* to replace a little piece of plastic is pretty damn sad though.

Thoughts anyone?

sorry folks... I didn't see the earlier thread

I did a search for the word 'stylus' and didn't hit on the other visor edge stylus post thread that already exists... I'm sorry to open up a new one just like it.

Landware is supposedly working on a floating.point stylus for the Edge.

Well landware better get off their butts and get this product out the door.... I know there's a good number of Edge users that would want to buy it. It *can't* be that hard to design and make...

Yes, I do and luckily I can comb mine back from the carpet floor!

From this almost nerve pounding experience, I learn that an Edge owner better not to play with the spring latch while the stylus is out in his/her hand. A pretty dangerous play.
