eyemodule2

I bought an eyemodule2 (great new price) however, the conduit software won't install. When I run the installer I get an error message saying " could not find Conduit" What gives? I tried installing on Win98 Se and WinXP same results. I also found out that the conduit software is not compatible with WinXP, and no fix is forth coming, Oh Joy. But what about Win98 SE I had the same error message there too!

Any help would be appreciated

Try this version from Handspring. Conduit software is at the bottom of the page. It may do the trick.

Unhappy eyemodule2

Yes I tried the new palm desk top software and it still doesn't find the conduit when I install. I don't understand that one. Can you install Visor Deluxe and Prism on the same computer and hot snyc them?

Thanks for the reply

You should be able to use multiple PDAs if you are using different user names.

Hi,
I had the same problem. There is an update for the eyemodule 2 conduit software at Handspring. Go to Handspring support and type in Eyemodule 2 conduit. There is a section on installation crashes. Basically its a software problem. The update has worked fine.

Incidently the section on the problem directs you to send an e-mail to Customer care for a new CD. They sent an e-mail back saying I had to call instead. I called and they tried to charge me for the correct software. After a "tense" exchange they agreed that it was supposed to be free. Then they wanted my credit card number which I refused to give. We will see if I get the updated CD.

Thanks for the response. I tried your suggestion, but there was no response from the search. I don't know if it's because Handspring no longer sells the eyemodule springboard, but they seem to have no support info for it. If you know the correct URL for that search pls let me know

Here's the URL for that conduit upgrade download from Handspring, in case anyone else needs it.

This fix works with WinXP.

Thanks again for the help
