I found that my old Sega GameGear case works quite well. It holds my visor, Stowaway and Minidisc player in the main pouch. Then I have my headphones and PS in the front pouch and there is a small pouch on the back for holding 2 games (which are about the same size as a SpringBoard). And of course it has the shoulder strap.

I also heard someone mention that case logic has a case for the Nintendo Gameboy (and it doesn't have any Nintendo or Gameboy logos on it). He said it works well.

I went to a local outdoor gear store and picked up a small pack by "The North Face" that holds my Stowaway and Visor with ease ... and room for extra batteries, module, etc. Only drawback is that it does not have a great deal of padding. But I am pleased with it, having just gotten back from a trip to CA. I was also able to keep my airline tickets in the back pocket.

I found a nice, cheap solution at Barnes & Noble and Borders Books, of all places. Both places carry the same product, the paperback size "BookGear" case from Gregg Mfg. (Sorry, can't find a website for these guys!) The case is designed to carry around a paperback book (I don't get it either. ), but I think it's going to work quite nicely as a small carrying case for my Visor and Stowaway.

It's made of ripstop nylon, and they had a few different colors: blue, purple, red, and black. it zips open just like the RhinoPak 3000, and folds open along the spine. There is an inside pocket on each half; they look like they were designed to hold the front and back pocket of a book but the Visor and Stowaway fit quite nicely, with a little bit of slack left over; you could probably fit a couple of Springboards as well. There's also a slim zippered outside pocket, excellent for holding other Stylii, batteries, etc. The only problem so far is that there's no closure for the inside pockets, so you have to be careful when opening it. There is a strap of nylon inside intended for use as a bookmark; I may cut it out and make some Velcro tabs out of it, which I can then sew into the case.

The only other thing is that there's not really any padding to the case... but since I'm extra careful with my stuff anyway, it's not too much of a concern. Not bad for $12.95!

The pictures above convinced me as well - Just got my RhinoPak 2K today. Everything fits great, though I don't have a modem module. I have the Stowaway under the elastic straps, and the Visor itself, with hard cover, in the mesh pocket on the left. It seems I have plenty of extra room - in the back pocket and the front mesh as well as some space between the top of the Visor and the case itself. Thanks for the pictures!!

after looking everywhere for the perfect case - online, in camping stores, camera stores, music stores, bag stores, video game store... i would come across the perfect size but not enough pockets for modules; or enough room and pockets, but no padding, or padding and room but the size of a small tank. so i decided to go with my original impulse and dropped the 50 clams for the rp3k.

just got it from the vc store (in 2 days, might i add ) and i love it. it's a much nicer fit than stuffing it into the 2k, and there's plenty more room. i have a pad o' paper, karma cloth, the stowaway, modem and phone cord, backup, and flash module, and plenty of space for more. and it's not that much bigger than the 2k. i was expecting something much larger, but its about the same height as the 2k and about 2 inches wider, there's a shoulder stap if it's all you need to carry that day, and like the 2k, lots of pockets for goodies. i can even take my discman with me in this thing and not feel too bulky. it might seem a bit like the seinfeld man-purse that james talked about in his review, but a) in ny anyway, lotsa guys are carrying packs of this size - i know my pockets are always near to bursting even without my visor, b) it's a helluva lot better than carrying a big ol' laptop, and c) i'm comfortable enough with my masculinity to carry a purse

so i heartily recommend it if bulk and expense ($50 ) are not an issue. take it from me, it really is the best option if you want to store all your visor gear in one place. safe, rugged, and relatively cool.

I got a Rhino 2000 and the Stowaway and Visor fit in it comfortably. I can squeeze a third device--in my case, a dictaphone--into the case, but it's a tight fit and doesn't leave room for much else. If I was starting from scratch I would get the Rhino 3000.
