Good idea...

Ok, lemme just tell you how upset i am at my Custom Chrome PDAPanache Prism Stylus for rolling off my computer desk a million times! Why wouldnt Handspring or Palm or Sony make a little hole in the front of the cradle so we could store it there? It would make alot of sense, you know?

Maybe ill get my drill out, and take care of the problem.

What do you guys think, i know nobody would be like, "WHO CARES ABOUT HI-RES AND MP3 WHEN PALM HAS HOLES IN THEIR CRADLES SO THE STYLII WONT FALL OFF!", and if they did, they would be stupid.

Its just a simple, yet satisfying feature that could be added.

yeah, but even then its hard to grab off the table. i bite my nails so its almost impossible for me, unless i roll it off the side and catch it or something...but im taking out my drill tonight.

Get an old egg cup or something to hold it upright next to your PDA. Like in the old days when they needed a place to rest their quills when not writing.

I like your idea, though.

I'd even like a little hole in the front/top of the PDA. I never use the cradle, so I'd like a hole to put the stylus in when it's laying down.

I already drilled a hole in mine. i did it like to first week i got it. it just seemed logical to me...and it was fun...

Ice is Nice!

I drilled one in my VDx ice cradle two years ago. Ice is nice because you can see where you are drilling. I drilled a big fat half inch hole and inserted a rubber boot from a serial connector assembly. It worked pretty well. I could change the angle of the boot to adjust the angle of the stylus.

I have not had the guts to do that with my Prism cradle. Instead, I have a shot glass sized cup next to the cradle that holds several styli. I grab the color that best suits my mood. After Donna's announcement and the clarification that did not list Prism as a focus product, I mostly use black.

or better yet, get rid of the stylus altogether and put a small keyboard ......wait a sec...... forget it.
