I am unable to import addresses from a .CSV file. When I do, Palm Desktop stops responding. I have tried importing the same .CSV file on other machines without a problem, so I don't think the problem is with the file.
Rebooting has no effect. I have removed and reinstalled Palm Desktop and I didn't have the problem until after I imported a couple of lists - Palm Desktop locked up on the third try.
I am using Palm Desktop on a Dell Pentium II running NT 4.0. I create the .CSV files in either Excel or a text editor. I have checked the disk and files for errors and found none.
- Has this happened to anyone else?
- Are there configuration files (.INI or otherwise) that I can delete and recreate to reset the desktop?
- Could this be a memory problem?
