Help!

I have a flash module that has a broken springboard connector pin stuck in it. Any thoughts on how to remove it?

(BTW, I got my VDX replaced earlier this morning. CompUSA in Austin ROCKS!!. Replaced with no questions asked

Thanks, Robert

If it's sticking out far enough then take a need nose pliers to it. Be carful though. That could probably damage you visor severly. I would reccomend taking it back with your visor and getting a replacement.

Ben -

It is not sticking out at all! Can't really see it either. I did a hotsync before all of this mishap and I think I can restore all my apps. Most were on flash but data is safely on backup module and laptop I have restored addresses, memopad, and datebook.

I don't think it is worth replacing the Visor - again.!

Thanks,
Robert

Did you already replace your visor ( I read your other topic)? If you haven't, replace the flash module also with the Visor (I though you said Compusa). I think that they would replace it for you for free under the circumstances. Otherwise, call up Handspring and tell them what happened, I think that they would also be willing to replace the module. If worse come to worse, open up the module and get it out that way, but be careful. Doing this will void you warrenty for sure.

Ben-

Yes. I replaced it this morning from CompUSA. I might go back in the morning with the receipt for the flash module and try to get a new one.
