Question

Size Error
Size Limit Exceeded

The requested file's size is too large to be sent to this device.

This is the error I have gotten on a couple of my 'homemade' channels. I am trying to point AvantGo at a page with one graphic (which I have turned off) and text. I have the depth at 0. The maximum size for the channel is 100 K. The few days it was working, it was around 12 K. Why is it suddenly not working? Do I have to change something with my preferences?

According to this AvantGo FAQ, you are limited to 2mb per sync and 20mb total per day.

Is there a limit to how much I can sync?

Yes. AvantGo limits the amount of data that can be transferred in a single sync to 2MB and the amount that a user can sync in a day to 20MB. These limits are in place to ensure that every user is able to sync quickly.

This FAQ states maximum page size can be 32kb

A single Web page cannot exceed 32KB.

One or both of these could be your problem.

I get this error with my Prism while using Omnisky.

I try and go to http://www.yahoo.com and get the error. Then I get a fatal error and have to reset. All other pages work fine.
