Wow, that was great! Now what?
That PCXpo coverage was stunning (not). Now perhaps we will soon be able to read James' review of Magellan GPS?? I think we were hoping to see it LAST weekend. Articles, reviews, and news items have been torturously slow the last few months. If anyone wants to send me some new item or software, I'd be happy to review it and submit the article to VC. Geez, if I see another new thread about trouble hotsyncing I'm gonna flip! I'm starting to think this site is dying

Yes, there are a lot of posts about hotsincing, but, I think that VC should have a HUGE banner on top of the site saying, "YOU CANNOT UPGRADE THE OS ON A VISOR!!!!"

I've also felt like it has been painful lately waiting for the latest review or article. Also the poll hasn't been updated in a long, long time. What's going on here?

The Magellan review was delayed by a problem with the unit I had. I didn't get a replacement until late last week, preventing me from finishing the review.
As for trouble HotSyncing, Handspring told me that that was one of the questions they hear the most, so it's not surprising that you see those questions here. No one is forcing you to read those threads.
I'm sorry you didn't like the coverage, but it would have been much slower had we transcribed each interview and wrote articles each night. Now that we're back, I'll be working on getting plenty of new products for review.

Thanks James for the reply! It does seem like in the last day, there is all kinds of new stuff to read about. I guess the entire handheld market slowed down over the last few months, along with all these other tech companies. I love my Magellan, but I do want to know if the maps would change seamlessly from location to location, and when will we get driving directions like Europe's got?
