Question

Is HackMaster incompatible with the Prism? When I go into HackMaster I don't see the "?" and "+" buttons, just little squiggles where they out to be.

I also can't get Fitaly (v2.0) to work at all.

Laura

As I was told by James, that's a known Hackmaster issue with OS 3.5x. It still works fine.

Fitaly 2.0 does not work on the Prism or Palm IIIc. You can use FitalyStamp 1.2c (the color version) on the Prism.

It still works?

The [?] and the [+] boxes don't show up, but "it still works" means what exactly? If I tap where the [+] is, do I get the options menu still?

And do we know if Daggerware is planning on making an update?

There is another program out there that works with hacks and it's freeware, I can't remember the exact name of it but it was written by the TGRPro users group. Do a search for on PalmGear and you'll probably find it. It may not have the +? isuue's.

Yes, if you tap where the + and ? are you do get the same response. Some hacks don't work however

sorry for the poor grammar. You get the SAME response as before when tapping the + and ? on the screen. Lucky I don't practice medicine the way it type.

That would be EVPlugBase. It's being distributed by the TRGPro users group through some arrangement with the developer.

NOTE: This app caused numerous errors and resets on my VDx. I'm not sure if it works any better on the 3.5 OS. Maybe others who have used it on a Prism can comment...

Based on numerous posts that I've seen, I would stick with HackMaster.

Laura, if you're going to pursue FitalyStamp hack, you will need HackMaster for that.

I am using the latest version of EVPlugBase (1.1b1) and it seems to work fine on my VDx (so far). I don't use many Hacks, though; just FontHack 123, MenuHack, Battery Meter Hack, ClearHack, and AutoShiftHack.
