Does the Stowaway keyboard use power from the Visor even when the Visor is docked in it but the power is off?

The following is from Targus' website on the Stowaway:
"Will my Visors battery drain faster because I am connected to the keyboard?

Since the keyboard only needs power while it is actually being used, the effect on the overall battery life in your Visor will be minimal. You may notice that your visor will slowly drain while it is powered off, but there is no
additional drain caused by having the keyboard attached while power is off."

I have not noticed any additional drain caused by leaving my VDX on the keyboard vs. removing it everytime not typing.

I'm fine with it. I should note that the Stowaway uses less power per word than graffiti But you can type soo much faster, so it just goes right on bye..
