Question Need Help Completely rebuid my visor

Hi...Could anyone help?

Over the period of about a year I have installed and deleted various softwares for my visor. Each software usually required two or 3 smaller files to make it run. As you could imagine I can't remember what goes with what, I'm running out of space and I don't use these programs any more.

I want to completely clean out my system and start from the beginning with only the software I got when I first purchased my visor.

Does anyone know what core files came with the visor or how I can rebuild?

Thanks

The 'core' files are those in ROM... the default Palm OS apps. If you want to start 'fresh', you'll need to copy your backup directory to a safe location and then do a hard reset on your Visor. You can then begin syncing back the 3rd party applications you want to use. Keep in mind that any registration info will need to be re-entered.

Well, sounds to me like you want to do a hard reset, so try that. That'll erase everything on your Visor, and start you off fresh, with only those things that came with it when it was new.

This may be a very simplistic view from me but have you done a hard reset of your Visor? When I do one on either my VDx or Prism I end up with the original programs and only the original setup of the handheld.
