CDMA Visorphone

What happened to the CDMA Visorphone? I thought it was supposed to be out by now? When is it coming or is it coming? Thanks for the answers.

According to AirPrime's press releases, this should be available 3Q 2001. I am waiting for it as well and hoping that it is priced competiitively. Hang in there.

If you can't wait for a CDMA Visorphone

Get the Kyocera smartphone
http://www.kyocera-wireless.com/kys...mart_series.htm
It's basically a CDMA phone with a buily in Palm device

I don't know about you but my Visor is filled with a VisorPhone and does not have a springboard slot when that phone is in it. Mote point though, I can take the phone out and use my Visor with a plethora of other toys any time I want.
Let's see a whatchamacallit phone; I'm still having trouble with the name of that thing, is it Kee-oh-cee-ra or Ki-oh-cer-a or do you just call it QCP-Twenty-Thirtyfive for short? I digress, a whatchamaphone is a good deal, it's free with a two year $40 a month contract. I'm paying $40 a month for my VisorPhone service, but only have to have it for year. Oh ya I can downgrade my service at any time to $20/month. And I paid $50 for the phone. Minimum total cost $290. But to get the equivalent service I would need to pay $40 a month, my total $530 with the option of trying something else in a year. The Whatchamacallit phone is $960, albeit over two years. If I add the cost of my Prism $200 I'm into it $730. Oh Kay, so cost wise I think the VisorPhone is better. You can of course add it up your own way and I'm sure the numbers can also say the Whatchamacallit phone is more cost effective. But my PrismPhone is in color! And I would like to know more about the software that the whatchamacallit phone uses and the speed of the built in Palm and what Palm OS it uses and how much ram it has and, and, and.
By the way Blazer is way cool.

Have Stowaway, Will type,
