Lightbulb

Of the 8000 or so threads on this discussion board, there must be several excellent posts that deserves to become an article.

Help us find them!

If you stumble across a thread that you think can be made into a great article, let us know. We will contact posters and get an article going.

Thanks,

Marcus

You guys are going to kill me..

I think that even we hate warman posts, it has played a large part in the history of VC. I don't know if their's any specific one in their, maybe just a summary of the anger, and the problems that were discussed in that topic.

Marcus,

How about this thread?

I also would be interested in what it takes to create a site that is Visor/Palm friendly (formatted for AvantGo viewing).

I remember seeing a thread about HandyGPS, reviewed by Mavidal. It was informative. Maybe that can be an article?

Lets have an article regarding screen protectors in detail. Discuss why they are necessary, what types are out there, where to buy them, how to make your own, etc..etc..etc..

I'll second that (for obvious reasons ). I thought James said a while back that he was considering doing a review of commercially available protectors. It's not an easy undertaking because of the longevity factor, but it would be nice to see side-by-side comparisons.

I think that it is a good idea to review them, but don't put a comment section. That would just get into another crusade.

Perhaps this could be a long-term test, where each staff member picks a particular brand, writes their initial comments on a particular screen protector, then writes a follow-up 6 months or so later to see how the protector's doing.

You might also consider covering the non-commercial alternatives as well, as these seem to be pretty popular.

Not a bad Idea (this means free goodies for me )
If James desides to go for it I can test the fitaly stamp for him since I recently installed it on my Visor.
It's not a real screensaver eh, screenprotector pur sang but it protects my grafity area and that was the only place where I got scratches anyway....
