Unhappy

I've been keeping a twistie (like the kind you use to tie up a trash sack) in my Visor battery compartment so I have a handy reset pin. I stripped some of the plastic off of one end so it would fit in the microscopic Visor hole.

It worked great until last night. I guess the twistie got slightly bent as I pushed it in. I think it bridged something because instead of a reset I was greeted with a nice scrambled screen and my backlight turned on. Luckily, it only corrupted half of the memory instead of frying the thing. A true hard reset and BackupBuddy saved me within a few minutes.

Ironically, I was resetting because I couldn't get the damn thing to HotSync. It synced just fine after the twistie deleted half the memory. Guess it was my lucky day.
