Connecting visor to internet in UK = please help

quick question: Just bought a visor edge hand held, from dabs.com. I want to be able to connect to the internet.

All I have presently is a data enabled WAP Timeport Motorola (it does have InfaRed capability - and connected to free 24/7 WAP with BT genie).

Thats all the hardware I have, is this possible to connect, and if so what must I do? And if not, what do I have to get and do to connect my visor to the net? modems?!?! ISPs?!?!?

ps - what visor software do I need, currently i have installed nohting.. thanks alot!!!
