Unhappy

I am using the Palm software that came with the Visor. My inbox and contacts move into the Palm software and then into the Visor. But my Schedule data (which is crucial), does not. Any clues??

What are your "Conduit Manager" aka PocketMirror settings set to on your PC? They should show something like:
- Outlook Calendar Synchronize
- Outlook Contacts Synchronize
- Outlook Tasks Synchronize
- Outlook Notes Synchronize
- System Handheld overwrites PC
- Install Enabled

It sounds like your Calendar may not be set to Synchronize.

I don't get it. In which program is the "Conduit Manager"? All I have in the "HotSynch" -> "Custom" is the option to synch, not to synch and overwrite or not. No word about Outlook.

reuvenh:

Look in Outlook under Tools. When you install your Palm Desktop software and you choose to sync to Outlook instead, it installs the Conduit Manager into your Outlook.

At least that's what it did to my Outlook 97. I'm assuming it's the same with your Outlook 2000.

rtalain,

You are correct in your assumption that Conduit Manager is installed as a menu option on the Tools menu in Outlook 2000. It also appears on the Tool Bar as the right-most icon.

reuvenh, Hope this helps.

As a side note I think that anyone who is using outlook2000 might want to download the patch to the pocketmirror software...it fixes some minor issues associated with their software www.chapura.com
v2.0.4b

I believe 2.04b comes with the Visor.

Thank you everyone for your replies and advice. I installed Conduit Manager and I hope this will now work.
