I just came across a device that looks like a USB version of Compact Flash.

Is there a way an adapter could be built for the springboard slot that could fit a device like this?

For that matter, why not just build a USB Springboard module to plug any USB device in? Granted, you will need drivers, but at least the option will be there.

I seem to recall seeing a careful explanation about why this wouldn't work in a discussion thread on VC. It was quite a while ago (probably about 6 months or more). You might try searching (although it could be hard to formulate an efficient search). Or maybe our moderator or one of the VC staff knows where it is.
