Question

Anyone experiencing a significant decrease in battery life after using the 8mb Flash Module? (I'm using version 1.2 on a VDX.) Anyone know if this is common? Any solutions?

Thumbs up Off Brand Batteries

I've had the 8 meg module for a long time. I used to get 8 days max battery life using Duracell and Energizer with the module always inserted. I started using off brand batteries and my battery life has almost doubled. I haven't tried it without the module, because I never take the module out. Track your batteries with runtime, and try off brand batteries. It can't hurt. :> )

I'm using NiMH Nexcells in my Deluxe. I've had the 8MB springboard for 3 weeks and I have not seen a difference in cell life.

I leave it in all the time (except to use my backup module).
