Has Hot-sync manager dveloped AI?

I'm running HotSync manager 3.1.2h and the 4.0.1 Desktop. Because I couldn't sync from netscape mail to my prism I had thrown in the towel and set mail to do nothing, which it did with a 100% success rate. Now I've decided to try to figure out if Netscape 6.2 will sync somehow, but there is a problem. Somehow hotsync manager has sensed my lack of interest in mail, and decided to remove the conduit for me from the custom window .That's got to be some very perceptive programing they've added! Seriously though, Any one else have this problem and or a solution? The only thing I can think of is that I recently installed Avantgo. Thanks.

P.S. Oddly enough, when I go into mail configuration on the desktop and reselect Netscape I even get a message at the end stating that my mail is configured to do nothing. But the mail selection doesn't appear anywhere in the "custom " window.

I have the same problem with DateBook. No matter what I try, I can't get DateBook to show up in the Custom window. I haven't fixed this yet and no one on here seems to know how, either. My only idea is to reinstall the desktop software, but I haven't tried it yet. Maybe Handspring support would know.

Missing conduits are generally the result of installing (and then removing) other apps which replace them, though there are other ways they could disappear. I believe that conduit settings are stored in the Windows registry (or whatever the Mac equivalent is). Re-installing the desktop software usually brings back the default conduits.

Thanks. That's what I ended up doing was re-install the desktop, and it brought the conduit back to the custom window no problem. Unfortunately eventhough it is now "syncing" with my mail in Netscape 6.2 nothingactually appears in mail on the VPR. I read something about fixing the mail syncing problem on past threads, but the links all come up 404. So I'm just wondering if there are any Netscape users that have successfully synced their mail without adding another app to the long list. And if I do have to fork out some cash, which app would be best.
Oops. I just saw your post rmorlino. In case you wondering all I had to do was select the dektop download from HS and reinstall it. All of my preferences where still saved, and so far I haven't found any other gliches.
