CF/Matchbook read speeds?

Ok heres the deal. I have prism with the matchbook drive and a bunch of Cf cards....all this works great. but there is one strange issue I seem to bee having.

I have been crunching down Jackass and Simpsons episodes and watching them with tealmovie right off the cards.. some movies seem to run better than others even though they have been encoded the same and even sized up in premier..but they all seem to play differently.I have full motion/full color movies with audio that are 20Mb running fine, then I have some 16 Mb clips that one plays fine and one is soo lag its not even funny..I am just confused

I am so confused i have tried all the settings in tealmovie, afterburner everything. Does anyone know any benchmarks on the read speeds of the CF/matchbook combo? Or maybe have some tips on encoding?

I would go over to http://groups.yahoo.com/group/flashadapter-forum and talk to that group. It seems that the members there have nearly every possible configuration of flash adapter / flash card under the sun.

Dave Kessler is a regular on the board, and is always willing to lend a hand and make his software better.
