Hey all,
I'm taking my Prism on the road for the first time, and I'm wondering how much battery time a set of 4-AA batteries will be able to add to my Prism us the Talestuff charger. Anyone know?

Exclamation Be careful when charging Prism w/low AA's

I have the talestuff charger and ran into a bug when I attempted to charge my Prism when the AA batteries were low. I could no longer recharge my Prism (in the cradle or in the car) and the battery meter never exceeded 70%. I found another thread here where people had the same problem. I had to do a warm reset while in the cradle and then everything worked fine. Otherwise the charger is invaluable. I've sent talestuff an e-mail asking them about this problem.

Mike

I was one of those with problems using the charger. I got it to charge once, and that was it. After that charge, the light would stay on continuously, but never charged. A change of fresh batteries, using the cradle, nothing worked until I did a reset while on the cradle. I'm wary of using it anymore without testing it further at home.

Worked perfectly fine for me, its best not to drain the Visor's battery to next to nothing but rather keep keep it trickling the power.

A simple reset in or out of the cradle solved that problem each time it happened to me. I travel with it regularly with no concerns. One set of batteries provide 3-4 nightly charges but I never completely drain my Prism. When I am not travelling, I keep it in my car with several sets of batteries -- just in case.
