Not sure if this has been discussed on here before, if so, sorry, I missed it. I just purchased the GoType keyboard for the VDx and was unable to get it to work. I followed the directions to the tee, ensured I had the latest driver, etc.., still wouldn't work!! I emailed LandWare for assistance and they promptly replied with the solution to my problem. For those of you thinking about getting one, the beam feature MUST BE turned on before it will work. I had never turned it on since it's not something I use. Hopefully LandWare will include this in the instructions or on there web site in the near future.

Seems like I have read somewhere on VisorCentral that the beaming feature turned on causes increased battery usage. You may want to turn on only when using the GoType.

Speaking as a GoType user (for a couple months) who "recovered" and went over to the Stowaway. That is GoType's bug. The Stowaway's bug is that the driver intermittently interferes with the "." and upstroke graffiti. If you enable/disable the stowaway driver it corrects the problem.
