MemPlug

I had a run of bad luck that resulted in a hard reset and erasing the MemPlug. I am trying to restore v. 1.4 and keep getting a fatal alert during the Update.
It says:

../Src/FlashAccessAMD.c,
Line:703,attempt to flash
1,2 over 0's

I can not find my 1.3 file to try and I can not restore from back up.

I have erased and attempted to restore several time, always the same result.

Any Ideas

I followed the steps several times, but it will not recover. I am going to try another SM card at work.

I'd recommend checking the Memplug forum at Yahoo's eGroups. I think there are some others experiencing the problem you've described.

There are some pretty helpful MemPlug users there, as well as the always helpful staff at PItech.

Help. I just got my memplug yesterday and now I think I goofed it up too. I couldn't find the special version of CSpotRun at the memplug website (looked under Downloads) so I used the Updater Version 1.4E. I don't know if this would cause problems, since I only have a Visor Deluxe, but PiDirect now appears on the desktop, which I know I can't use. But anyway, I would like to get rid of version 1.4 and go back to version 1.3. Is this possible? I already used the Eraser program to erase version 1.4, but now where can get version 1.3 to reinstall into the memplug? Did I totally wreck my memplug?

Any help is appreciated.

One other question I have is, how come when I make new directories in the memplug using PiMover, all of a sudden, the directories and all the files disappear. They take up memory but they don't show up in PiMover and can't be accessed anymore? I basically lost many precious files as a result.
Is this a problem with the memplug or the smartmedia card? I hope I don't have to return the memplug, although it's giving me way too many problems.
