Exclamation Back-up Module available for Pro

I was browsing the Handspring website and saw they added a 16MB back-up module for the Visor Pro.

Was wondering:
Could you back up your Pro with a 8MB Backup Module if you haven't used more than 8 MB?

I should point out that it might be a wiser choice to get something like the MemPlug. With 16MB Smart Media or 16MB Compact Flash, it's about the same cost as the 16MB Backup module, but it can be used as a general storage device as well as as a backup device. What's more, quadrupling the amount of memory would bring it to merely $16 above the cost of the Backup Module, and having eight times the memory would be only $36 more expensive. That's pretty neat.

Problem is, the memplug isn't as dumb-simple as the backup module, and therefore may be prone to errors. Also, you're more likely to have the memplug in your visor all the time, which would make it useless if the visor is lost or seriously damaged..
