Exclamation

Handspring.com now has the webcast archive up and running. So if you missed it like I did, here is your chance!

New Webcast Censored

I did notice that the new webcast that is on the Handspring site is not the same as the real time webcast, which I got to see before it went offline.

The part when Jeff demonstrates the Fastlookup feature, the camera pointed at his Edge PDA while he goes through the keystrokes of looking up Donna Dubinski's number. This time the camera is pointed at Jeff while he goes through the keystrokes.

I guess they were concerned about the privacy issues and having Donna's address and number broadcast across the web.

Just an observation.

Question

I thought is was strange that during the fast lookup presentation the camera was on Jeff. I understand however that Donna's number should not be available for everyone to have. They should have used a fake address book. Oh well.

I make it a point when doing reviews to use fake numbers or restaurants just in case.
